BGG cards in wave 1?

People on the internet have been saying that the BGG cards have been received in wave 1. Is this correct? I wanted to check before I go to after sales. I received my package today, and no BGG cards. I am now going to check for missing cards in the base game.

Are sure that these people have not only received the BGG promo cards directly from BGG or via the Geek Market ?
