In the setup rules it states that the action deck should be made up of 35 common skill cards + 5 character skill cards (for each character taking part) + curse card + 4 "death is lurking" curse cards.

Now am I right in thinking that the expansions do not have any "common" skill cards? Because if they did, there would be more than 35, at which point what should you do?

Correct, the expansions contain some advanced skills (IIRC it was one per exp.)

According to the Cards list, there is no "common" skill cards in the expansions. Only "Advanced skill" cards.

Ok. Then I build the Adventure deck like it is explained in the rules. But when Come the advanced Skill into play?
