Well, my favorite curses came from mini expansions: "The Icy Maze", "The Forbidden Sanctuary" and "Swamp of Madness". The latter won't be reprinted, but the other two, BRIGHTSALSA, I highly reccommend.

So, are there any news about more expansions for Classic version of the game? :]
We can see that preorder of "The Icy Maze", "The Forbidden Sanctuary" and "Crystal Song (with some add-ons from "What Goes Up, Must Come Down)" is available. Also creators admitted that "Swamp of Madness"won't be reprinted and sold... However, how about other five: "Path of Repentance", "Comfort Creatures", "Facing the Elements", "The Flying Roots", "Fear the Devourers"? Was any info mentioned and I missed?! Posted
So guys, do you think they will make a classic version of "What Goes Up, Must Come Down" expansion as well?!
Sorry, Brisingre, don't rememeber, but if you want I can send/show you a spoiler picture of it. :] Posted
A secret room with a puzzle to unlock something unique and a "treasure"to find. ;]

P.S. My favorite creature from the hissing cages is the "Rainbow Salamander". The artwork is amazing on that and the ability is pretty cool! :]

Brisingre,
what do you mean by "The Goat (which renders Classic somewhat incompatible with WGUMCD" ? How do you know that?! Posted
Interesting. :] Thank you for your insight and info, Brisingre. Don't mind if anyone else continued expanding the list you started here...
Then, from what Brisingre mentioned, I would consider the biggest loss for new players are Hissing Cages (especially there's one creature I really adore and everyone should meet him :) and after that some Advanced Skill Cards! Posted
Thank you, Brisingre. Will be on a lookout! :]

Hey,
I have noticed that H.P.Lovecraft has a "Dark side" skill card, which states "...you may take all the curse cards in the Discard Pile and shuffle them back into the Action Deck." The latter only makes a combo with his "Dark regeneration" skill card and character power. However, maybe someone else found any other use for this effect to be worth doing? Posted
There's no need for hint anymore - found it. :]

Oh... There is the official card list on this website; thanks, Jackspirio, for pointing this out...
So, card 586 is one of the BGG promo cards, which you can buy online to add even more to the game! And card 282 was misplaced in my game box. :D Therefore, everything is, indeed, correct. Sorry. :] Posted
I think, Jackspirio, this list is incomplete and based on id number instead of card number... It would be much easier if someone just checked their game and informed me. :]

Figured out how this curse could be lifted - no help anymore needed. :]

Already figured out how and where "The All-Seeing Eye"works, but it's pity that Android version on my phone is quite buggy!

Hey,
I just checked the order of the cards in the game box and it seems that I'm missing 282 and 586 cards. I have every released expansion, so it's a little bit confusing to me... Can somebody check their game box and write here whether they have mentioned number cards? Or this is simply the way game was designed and there is no mistake with my copy?! :] Posted
Hey,
I have found the item that lets me use 'augmented reality mobile app', however, all my effort of "The All-Seeing Eye" is bonkers. I've been playing lately a game with two curses and traveling all around the 7th Continent, but there is no result with the augmented reality. Can anyone provide me with hints where should it be done or how correctly to use the mentioned item? Posted
Oh, yeah Wamphyri,
they did explain that it will be sold only through their website/no retail. My bad. :] Also you probably wanted to say "instead of 4 curses in the full version"... I remember this Kickstarter info update, however, it still doesn't answer my question - I'm curious are those 113 cards are exploration, adventure, terrain, event, animal. side quest cards... And which ones? So interesting which of the cards they decided not to include in the Classic edition? |
